a mother and daughter committed to nurturing a place where people can feel safe, supported, and sovereign in their own healing. We believe that when individuals are centered, families become steadier and communities grow stronger.
Our story
Our vision began in a moment of personal crisis. When a member of our own family faced a severe mental health challenge, every one of us felt the impact. Each person carried their own version of trauma, and as we searched for support, we found ourselves underwhelmed by the resources available. We saw gaps, missed opportunities, and a system that often left families feeling alone.
Instead of accepting that as the norm, we chose to build what we wished we had.
Drawing on her 30‑year nursing career, my mom returned to school to become a mental health nurse practitioner. I leaned into my background as a physical therapist and became a professional yoga therapist certified in medical therapeutic yoga. I deepened my study of somatic healing, nervous system regulation, breathwork, sound healing, and polyvagal‑informed practices.
Now, we come together as a mother–daughter team to create the kind of space we once needed: a place where a parent can bring their child for a psychotherapy appointment and then step into a yoga class down the hall. A place where emotional support groups incorporate movement, where teachers and families can find resources, and where individuals can reconnect with themselves in both body and mind.
Our hope is to partner with schools, practitioners, and community leaders to expand awareness of the mind–body connection, the importance of a regulated nervous system, and the transformative power of movement. We want people to know that fitness can feel good, that movement can become meaningful ritual, and that aligning with nature’s cycles can bring us back to ourselves.
At the heart of everything we do is our guiding vision: a centered self, a stable family, and a strong community.
