Educational Advocacy
The Self Centre partners with schools, families, and educational systems to support student well-being through clinically informed collaboration and educational advocacy. Services are designed to bridge mental health care and educational environments while honoring student autonomy, family voice and institutional boundaries.

How this integrates with Care
School partnership and advocacy services operate within The Self Centre’s therapeutic system of care and may compliment psychiatric, therapeutic, physical therapy, or sensori-motor services when appropriate. Collaboration occurs only with appropriate consent and respects professional and institutional boundaries.
Who this is for
School partnerships and educational advocacy may be helpful for students, families, or schools seeking collaborative support around mental health, learning needs, or school related challenges. Participation does not require enrollment in other services at The Self Centre.
Patient Choice & Sequenced Care
Access to school partnership and educational advocacy services follows a sequenced care model and is introduced thoughtfully following consultation or request. Participation is vonluntary and based on informed consent. Declining this serevice does not limit access to other care at The Self Centre.
